The Flames through nine months of shedding assets have never seemed to give any F***s.

Never has that been more evident than tonight where the depleted squad skated on to the ice in Tampa and completely outclassed the Lightning on their way to a 6-3 victory.

The Flames were paced by Yegor Sharangovich who scored twice and added two assists.

Calgary dropped to five defensemen early in the second sitting Dennis Gilbert and showing confidence in newcomer Joel Hanley.

Fun ride. Calgary may as well make the playoffs now right?

Another really slow start.

Another comeback.

This one though coming up short as the Flames don’t find the full third period magic despite two goals from Andrei Kuzmenko in falling 4-2 ot the Seattle Kraken.

Calgary came out flat as a pancake going 14 minutes without a shot and putting themselves behind the eight ball.

The loss leaves them seven points out with now only one game in hand on the Predators.

Didn’t see that finish coming.

The Flames were terrible in the first period, better in the second, and then better again in the third, turning what looked like a safe Penguin lead in the third period into a come from behind 4-3 regulation time victory.

The Flames come back was led by a spirited end to end rush by Nazem Kadri, and a two goal night from Yegor Sharangovich, as the Flames push their win streak to five games and keep pace with the streaking Nashville Predators.

Ceremony games are hard, as the host team oftens starts skating in sand.

What a streaky second half of the season.

The Flames win their fourth straight, with a 4-2 win over the LA Kings on Tuesday night, their third four game win streak in the second half.

No passengers from the Flames tonight as they continue to say in the playoff picture, still five points back with a game in hand, but now only one team to reel in.

Next up Kiprusoff night on Saturday against the Penguins.

What a season.

Just continue to be impressed with the Flames character this season.

So much energy.

So much resolve.

The Flames put up their third straight win against NHL juggernauts with the Calgary 6-3 win in Edmonton over the Oilers on Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night.

The Flames got two goals and an assist from Noah Hanifin, who did nothing to hurt his trade value on national television.

The win moves the Flames closer to the Blues, but still three points out of the final playoff spot.

Great run of hockey in an every intriguing season.
