Training sites for the camp include the University of Calgary athletic facilities, Bowmont Boxing Club, Father David Bauer Arena and the Pengrowth Saddledome. The scheduled training regimen includes a cross-section of dry-land activities and work-outs; including boxing (with Doug Harder), rock-climbing, strength-training and power skating. This year's camp also includes on-ice practices that will emphasize power skating, development of hockey skills and specialized goaltending instruction. "The commitment to physical and mental conditioning is a philosophy that extends throughout the Flames organization," explains Flames Development Coordinator Jamie Hislop.
